We’ve rebuilt lyngpharmacy.uk from the ground up. Alongside a faster, clearer site, there’s now an online shop, customer accounts, order tracking, and an app you can add to your phone. Here’s what’s changed and how to use it.
You can now order pharmacy essentials online — pain relief, allergy treatments, vitamins, skincare and more — and have them delivered to your door across West Bromwich and the surrounding areas. Delivery is £2.95, or free on orders over £15, and collection from the pharmacy is always free.
Pharmacy medicines are handled the way they should be. Where a product legally requires a pharmacist’s involvement, you’ll answer a few short screening questions, and our pharmacist reviews your answers before the order is dispatched. If it isn’t suitable for you, we’ll cancel that item, refund it in full and usually give you a ring to talk through alternatives. Payment is taken securely by card at checkout.
Create an account and your address is saved for next time, your order history is in one place, and you can follow each order as it moves from confirmed, to being packed, to out for delivery. Prefer not to sign up? You can check out as a guest, and still track your order using your reference and postcode on our tracking page.
Flu and Covid vaccination appointments can be booked online, and the confirmation email now includes a personal link so you can move or cancel your appointment yourself — no phone call needed. If your plans change, using that link frees the slot for someone else.
The site now installs to your phone as an app, free and without an app store. Ordering takes a couple of taps, and pages you’ve already viewed work even without a signal. There are step-by-step instructions for iPhone and Android on our install page.
We’ve added over thirty health articles and detailed pages on every condition we treat, all reviewed by our Superintendent Pharmacist. Whether you’re wondering if Pharmacy First covers your symptoms or looking into weight loss treatment, the information is there before you commit to anything.
The new site runs on PharmGrowth, a platform built specifically for independent NHS community pharmacies. Rather than a generic template, it provides the things a pharmacy actually needs — NHS service pages, eligibility checkers, prescription ordering, an online shop with pharmacist oversight built into the checkout, and a dashboard the team uses daily.
That mattered to us because independent pharmacies are usually stuck choosing between an outdated website and a system designed for a supermarket. Neither understands that a pharmacy medicine needs a clinical check, or that patients ordering repeat prescriptions want it done in under a minute.
If you run an independent pharmacy and you’re curious about how it works, PharmGrowth builds sites and tooling for pharmacies across the UK — you can find them at pharmgrowth.co.
If something doesn’t work as you’d expect, or there’s a product you’d like us to stock, we genuinely want to hear it. Call us on 0121 500 5756, pop in, or use our contact page. Not everyone wants to do things online, and nothing has changed at the counter — the website is there for the times it’s easier, not instead of us.
Browse the shop, order a repeat prescription, or book a vaccination appointment.
