Microsuction is the method used by ENT specialists — a gentle vacuum removes wax under direct vision, making it safer and more comfortable than syringing. It’s ideal for blocked ears, dulled hearing, itchiness, or clearing wax before a hearing test.
If your ear is painful or discharging, or you’ve had recent ear surgery, speak to our pharmacist first — we’ll check it’s safe to proceed. Using olive oil drops for a few days beforehand can make removal easier.
