Flu & Covid-19 vaccinations, booked in under a minute.
Free NHS flu and Covid-19 jabs for eligible patients at Lyng Pharmacy, West Bromwich — plus private flu jabs for £30. Both jabs can be given together in one visit.
Every vaccination is given in our private consultation room by our pharmacist team. Appointments take around 15 minutes.
NHS flu vaccination
Free for eligible patients
Free on the NHS if you're pregnant, aged 65 or over, in a clinical risk group, a carer, in long-stay residential care, a close contact of someone immunocompromised, or an eligible frontline health or social care worker
Appointments start 1 October 2026 — pregnant women and children are eligible from September and can be vaccinated at their GP surgery before then
All other eligible adults from 1 October 2026 — timed so protection is strongest over the winter peak
Season runs until 31 March 2027 — but earlier is better
Not eligible for a free NHS jab? Anyone aged 18 or over can book a private flu vaccination
Same quadrivalent vaccine used across the NHS programme
Available from 1 October 2026 — pay in store on the day
Ideal for office workers, students and anyone who just wants winter covered
NHS Covid-19 vaccination
Free for eligible patients
This autumn the NHS programme covers adults aged 75 and over, residents in care homes for older adults, and anyone aged 6 months+ who is immunosuppressed
Co-administration is recommended by the NHS where possible — it's safe, and saves you a second trip
One 15-minute appointment, one jab in each arm
Bookable from 1 October 2026 while the Covid-19 programme is running

Common questions
Yes — the NHS recommends co-administration where possible. Choose "Flu + Covid-19 together" when booking and we'll do both in one 15-minute visit, usually one in each arm.
Yes. Our private flu vaccination is £30, available to anyone aged 18 or over from 1 October. You pay in store on the day — no eligibility questions.
Protection from the flu vaccine gradually wanes in adults, and flu usually peaks in December or January. Starting in October means your protection is strongest exactly when the virus is circulating most. Pregnant women and children become eligible earlier, from 1 September — their GP surgery can vaccinate them before our appointments open on 1 October.
Just call us on 0121 500 5756 and we'll move or cancel your slot — no charge, no fuss.
Nothing essential — just yourself. If you're booking a private flu jab, payment (£30) is taken in store. Wearing a short-sleeved or loose top makes things quicker.
