Once daily, with or without food. Morning suits most people since it increases urine output.
Keep your fluid intake up, especially in hot weather. If you also take a diuretic, be alert to dizziness on standing.
Diabetic ketoacidosis can occur with normal or only mildly raised blood glucose on SGLT2 inhibitors. Get urgent help for nausea and vomiting, stomach pain, excessive thirst, fast or deep breathing, confusion, unusual tiredness or sweet-smelling breath — and say that you take an SGLT2 inhibitor.

Not used in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your team if you are planning a pregnancy.
