The New Medicine Service gives you free one-to-one check-ins with our pharmacist when you start a new medicine for a long-term condition — so you get the most from it, right from the start.

All free on the NHS — in person at the pharmacy or over the phone, whichever suits you.

Start your new medicine

When you collect a newly prescribed medicine for an eligible condition, we’ll offer to enrol you — it takes seconds.

A chat after ~2 weeks

Our pharmacist checks in: how are you getting on? Any side effects, questions or trouble remembering doses?

03
A follow-up at ~4 weeks

A final catch-up to make sure everything has settled and the medicine is working as it should.
